I'm Lucy, a 23 year old Fine Artist and Textile Designer, based in Nottingham, UK.
I like to lead a quiet life. Painting, wandering, reading, nesting, drinking too much tea and getting outdoors as much as possible.

At a glance, my paintings are abstract sweeps of colour, built up through numerous layers of textural mark making and delicate brush strokes. I work instinctively and intuitively with paint to evoke the colours and textures of the natural landscape. Finding a sense of calm and rejuvenation in nature, I seek out green spaces wherever I am and paint, to bring the feeling of the outdoors, in.
